First off, I have never before experienced a week of Christmas celebrations filled with so much food, so many people or so many decade old Christmas songs. We spent the entire week bouncing between all the family members and enjoying multi - course meals as well as meeting everyone member of the family, extended or not. Within all of that during this week i think i have finally understood the Danish word "Hygge" a feeling of absolute comfort and coziness that the Danish seem to embrace during the holiday season.
Among all the eating and celebrating we managed to take a trip to Copenhagen to visit one of the oldest theme parks in the world to watch the Christmas fireworks and walk through the lights Tivoli is famous for.
While this post is short i have with out a doubt enjoyed the last week here and am quite sad that my time here is coming to an end.
